Creating a safe campus environment and a culture of respect is the shared responsibility of all members of the University community, individually and collectively. Our integrated team of health, wellness, and counseling professionals provide holistic and culturally-affirming care to Suffolk students. All counseling services provided by the staff are free for students. Health Services include acute care for illness and injury, diagnostic testing, prescriptions when appropriate, vaccination administration, screening services, preventative healthcare including contraception, COVID-19 related services, full physicals, and referral to specialty medical practices.

Staff in the Dean of Students Office are able to meet with students who have a question or concern about their experience, may need an absence verification, are considering a leave of absence, looking for access to the CARES Pantry, or want more information about community standards and the Student Code of Conduct.

Suffolk University is an urban school in a world-class city, and public safety is a top priority on our campus at all times. For this reason, Suffolk’s own University police and security staff operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Students are encouraged to download the Live Safe app to connect with our campus police.

While the main office is in the Ridgeway building, there are security desks in each of the other buildings.
